Vitali Anikeyenko Biography and Trivia

Vitali was killed in the plane crash of September 7, 2011 that claimed the lives of several members of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl KHL team.

A tough stay-at-home defenseman, Anikeyenko was also useful on the powerplay thanks to his hard slapshot.
