Tage Lindberg Biography and Trivia

Official Games Team Sweden: 3 A

Tage Lindberg gick under smeknamnet "Sparlågan". Fick sitt genombrott som spelskicklig back redan i Westermalms IF:s juniorlag. Spelade i högsta serien för bl a Tranebergs IF, AIK, Södertälje SK och IK Göta.
Debuterade i Tre Kronor redan 1946 i en landskamp mot Schweiz på Stockholms Stadion. Tre Kronor vann matchen med 9-7 efter bl a tre mål var av Claes Lindström och Gösta Söderström.

Tage Lindberg var även en väldigt duktig fotbollspelare och var med under flera säsonger i AIK:s A-lag under 1940-talet.
